MILO
THEN
NOW
Barbara
MacDougall is a special person on the list of special people that
support LDR. She made it possible for us to acquire the IV pump that
will give us the ability to move more quickly and pro-actively towards
treating our little sick guys.
But more than
that, there is a compelling, coincidental part of Barbara’s generosity
that really tugs at our heartstrings, makes us smile, and somehow makes
all our efforts come full circle.
Barbara adopted
her Milo (originally Monroe) from us just over two years ago. He was
from THE SAME PUPPY MILL from which our current little sick guys
were rescued. As upsetting as it is that these unscrupulous, hideous,
dirty, scum of the earth people can’t be stopped, there is a continuity
and completeness in life where our connection two years ago has now
brought us the necessary tools that we need to save these poor helpless
puppies that are otherwise doomed.
Thank you
Barbara, for your generosity. Thanks to all of our friends who have
supported us with their good wishes, prayers, and donations. Without
all of you, we could not be successful in our efforts.
By the way, we
feel that now that we have an IV pump, we won't have to look away when
we see these tiny babes that would, otherwise, be euthanized.
